Dear Friends, Collaborators, and Enthusiasts of MOSTRA: Brazilian Film Festival,

We are very excited to bring to you a great selection of Brazilian films with social conscience this year as we celebrate the 15th Anniversary of MOSTRA: Brazilian Film Festival in November 2024. The only Brazilian film festival in the United States’ Midwest, completely administered by volunteers, it began in Chicago, and it has presented sessions in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The goal of MOSTRA has been since its inception, to honor and enlighten others about our rich Brazilian culture, environment, history, literature, politics, and social issues.

MOSTRA has grown, and the number of Brazilian filmmakers who travel to the United States to join us at our screenings has increased greatly over the years. To maintain the level of excellence for this important project, we are launching a US $10,000 campaign. We are asking for your support and hope you will join us in this endeavor. We appreciate and thank each and every one of you for any contribution, no matter the amount.
