WAY BACK HOME

On Easter Sunday in a nursing home, Plinio, a retired carpenter, wears his best clothes, full of anticipation for the visit of his family, but no one shows up. Anselmo, the home’s gardener, noticing him alone and head down, offers to take him to his old house. During the trip, their bond strengthens and Plínio revisits the memories of his life in the neighborhood of Santana, where he was born and raised, but when he gets there, a surprise puts his memories in check.
