Born in São Paulo in 1973, Fernanda Heinz Figueiredo co-directed the medium-length documentary “Ideas for the Future of the Amazon” (2012). She directed a series of 13 short films about childhood culture in schools for the “Pelo Direito de Ser Criança” program, an initiative by the Sidarta Institute. Her first feature film, “Seeds from Our Backyard” (2012), was presented at the 36th Mostra (São Paulo International Film Festival).
Ataliba Benaim is a gestalt therapist, screenwriter, and documentary filmmaker for both cinema and television. He have authored the screenplay for award-winning feature films, including the children’s animation “Tito and the Birds” (2018), which was showcased at the Annecy Festival, among other fictional and documentary works in films and series.
