Synopsis
Érikah is a teacher, Samilla is a civil servant. Caio José is a paramedic, Kaio Lemos is an academic researcher. Mara is a journalist and the mother of a teenager. The five of them have different origins, backgrounds, and social classes. What they have in common is the fact that their lives have been crossed by transsexuality.

About the Director

Émerson Maranhão is a journalist and audiovisual director. An Alagoan living in Ceará for two decades, he has a degree in Social Communication from the Federal University of Alagoas and in Audiovisual Direction from the Dragão do Mar Institute of Art and Audiovisual Industry of Ceará. He has performed several roles in his journalistic career. At the newspaper O POVO, he was a culture reporter, executive editor of the Culture and Entertainment Center, front page editor, special reporter and editor of Audiovisual Content, among others. He is currently a special reporter for transmedia coverage.

He participated in major local, national and international journalistic coverage. He has in his curriculum some of the most important awards of the Brazilian press. In the audiovisual area, he was a member of screenplay selection committees and competitive festival screenings, coordinated the Ceará Film and Video Award and participated in film festival juries, in addition to working in the production and direction of short and medium-length films.
